Boston College is one of the largest Catholic schools in the country with 9,000 undergraduates. Split into two campuses 1 and 1/2 miles apart, the main campus (pictured below) is stunning. English, political science, nursing, business, chemistry, physics, economics, philosophy and theology, and biology are quite strong. Art, music, and drama are also highly rated. Admission rates are 31% overall, though 40% of those applying early action were admitted.
