This Jesuit school of 6,400 students is the oldest Catholic university in the country (founded in 1789). Fifty-four percent of the students are Catholic and there are students from over 100 countries. Strong programs include international relations (former Secretary of State Madeline Albright is a faculty member), business, and government.
