This attractive campus is no stranger to snow and cold weather. But the academics are stellar in such areas as premed, biology, engineering, social sciences, and music (as in the Eastman School of Music). Of the 4,700 students who attend, only 3% of the men and 2% of the women go Greek. It is not uncommon for undergraduates to engage in hands on research. If it gets too cold, take heart, the academic buildings are connected via underground hallways.
